Terms of Service
These terms set out the agreement between you and Championed Careers when you use the service. We have kept them plain. They cover what the service is, how payment works, who owns what, and the limits of what we can promise.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1.Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using Championed Careers ("Championed", "the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Together with ourPrivacy Policy, these terms form the agreement between us.
2.Who we are
Championed Careers is a trading name of [LEGAL ENTITY NAME],[REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COMPANY NO. if applicable]. You can reach us athello@championedcareers.com.
3.The service
Championed helps you build an evidence bank of your real achievements and turn it into CVs and cover letters written to a senior standard. It also helps you find roles, scores how well they fit, and gives you an honest reality check on whether to apply.
The service assists you; it does not act for you. You review every draft, and you press submit yourself. Championed never submits an application on your behalf and never operates any job platform's account as a bot.
4.Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Championed. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly athello@championedcareers.comif you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
5.Acceptable use
When using Championed, you agree not to:
- enter information you know to be false, or ask the service to fabricate qualifications, employment or achievements you do not have. Championed frames real evidence; it will not invent it, and neither should you;
- use the service to break any job platform's terms, for example by automating submissions or misrepresenting who you are;
- upload anyone else's personal data without a proper basis, or content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or its underlying systems;
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass, defraud or harm others.
The quality of your applications depends on the honesty of what you put in. Misuse of the service undermines the one thing it exists to protect: your credibility.
6.Plans, payment and subscriptions
Championed offers a free Explorer tier and paid plans, currently Partner (billed monthly), Campaign (billed quarterly) and Alumni. The features and current prices for each are set out on ourPricing page, which forms part of these terms. All prices are in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We will take payment through our payment provider, Stripe, using the payment method you provide.
- There is no annual plan. A job search is a season, so the longest plan is a quarter. We would rather you stopped paying the week you get hired than sat locked into a year.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause your paid features until it succeeds.
- We may change our prices. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will give you clear notice before the change takes effect, and it will only apply from your next billing period, so you can cancel first if you do not want to continue.
7.Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel or pause at any time from your account, in two clicks. There is no retention call, no offer maze and no button hidden three screens deep.
- Cancelling stops your subscription renewing. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can export everything before you go.
- Pausing stops billing and keeps your evidence bank safe, ready for when you come back.
- Refunds. Because the service delivers value straight away, we do not routinely refund the current period once it has begun. We are, however, reasonable people: if something has genuinely gone wrong, or you were charged in error, contact us and we will put it right.
- Your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a legal right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days. Where you ask us to start the service immediately, that right can end once the service has been fully provided within that period. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you.
When you land a role, tell us and we will offer to move you to the Alumni plan so your bank stays current for next time. It is opt-in, and you can decline and leave entirely.
8.Intellectual property
Your content is yours. You keep all rights in the CV you upload, the achievement stories in your evidence bank, and the applications generated for you. We claim no ownership of them. You grant us only the limited licence we need to run the service for you, for example to store your data and send the relevant parts to the AI provider so it can produce a draft you asked for. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
Our system is ours. Championed's software, its rulebooks, scoring methods, prompts, brand, designs and the words on this site remain our property or that of our licensors. Using the service does not give you any right to copy, resell or reverse engineer them.
9.AI-generated content
Championed uses AI to draft your applications. AI can get things wrong or phrase something in a way you would not. Every draft is a starting point for you to check, edit and approve. You are responsible for the final content of anything you submit under your name. Make sure it is accurate and that it is genuinely yours before you send it.
10.No guarantee of outcomes
We will do our best work on your applications, but we cannot and do not guarantee any particular result. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by us, and depend on countless things outside our control. Championed does not promise you interviews, offers or a job. Anyone in this market who does is not being straight with you.
11.Availability and "as is"
We work to keep the service running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may occasionally need to take it down for maintenance or change features. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
12.Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of a job opportunity, loss of earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Where we are liable, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
13.Suspension and termination
You can stop using Championed and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly the acceptable use rules, or where we are required to by law. Where it is fair to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first. If we close your account, you will still be able to export your data within the retention window in the Privacy Policy.
14.Changes to the service and these terms
The service will evolve, and we may update these terms to match, or to reflect changes in the law. When we make a significant change, we will update the "Last updated" date and tell you. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
15.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service, are governed by the law ofEngland and Wales [confirm before launch: England & Wales, or Scotland], and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and to rely on any mandatory consumer protections there.
